We’re continuing to grow and are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our team as Trainee PCV Drivers.

You don’t need previous bus or coach driving experience and you don’t need to already hold a PCV licence. We’ll provide the training, support and guidance you need to become a qualified professional driver.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need previous PCV driving experience. We’re much more interested in finding people with the right attitude.

You will need to:

• Hold a full UK Category B driving licence.

• Be reliable, punctual and committed to providing a good service.

• Have a friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.

• Be confident communicating with passengers and colleagues.

• Be able to meet the medical and licensing requirements for professional PCV drivers.

• Hold, or be able to obtain, the appropriate DBS clearance and local authority driver badge where required.

• Live within a reasonable travelling distance of the depot or operating location you are applying for.

• Be willing to learn and have a positive “can-do” attitude.

We’ll help you become a professional PCV driver

Our team will support you through the process of becoming a qualified PCV driver, helping you develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to get behind the wheel.

Once qualified, your duties will include carrying out daily vehicle safety checks, driving safely and professionally, assisting passengers, checking passes and collecting fares where applicable, following routes and schedules, communicating with our Operations team and ensuring your vehicle is left clean, tidy and ready for service.

Above all, you’ll be responsible for providing our customers with a safe, reliable and friendly journey.
