MONDAY Experience Liverpool from both water and land today! We commence with a 50-minute River Explorer Cruise, offering stunning views of Liverpool's skyline and the River Mersey, followed by a guided tour on Liverpool’s City Explorer open top bus. The route provides the opportunity to see some of the city’s most famous landmarks, including the Royal Albert Dock, The Cavern Quarter and the Chinese Arch. You are then free to explore the city at your leisure for the remainder of the day. With two cathedrals, art galleries in the city centre, and near the hotel - the Albert Dock and the Beatles Story, you’ll not be short of inspiration. The shopping in Liverpool is world class too, and shoppers will be spoilt for choice between gleaming new city centre shopping centres, boutique arcades and bohemian streets.
TUESDAY More time at leisure in Liverpool. The choice of museums is second to none, with the landmark Museum of Liverpool, offering diverse exhibits, the World Museum Liverpool, one of Britain’s finest, and the thought-provoking International Slavery Museum all offering free admission. We commence our homeward journey mid-afternoon.
