Two nights dinner bed & breakfast
On the outskirts of Norwich, just a short drive from the city centre. Bedrooms are over two levels, including the ground floor. Facilities include: The Brasserie; The Club Bar; and WiFi. There is no lift, ground floor rooms available on request and subject to availability.
SATURDAY On our outward journey we make our way to Langham Glass. Experience a fascinating live glassmaking demonstration with informative commentary, and see the experts use age-old techniques to create the finest handmade crystal. From here we continue to the hotel for our two night stay.
SUNDAY Our first visit today is to the attractive Georgian town of Holt for some free time, before boarding the North Norfolk Railway and making the short journey through glorious countryside to Sheringham, a rare example of a seaside town hardly changed from a century ago. Our final stop is Felbrigg Hall, where there are more than 400 years of family stories to discover in the Hall, as well as a working walled garden and dove house, orangery, lake and miles of estate walks.
MONDAY After breakfast, we head into Norwich, and enjoy an entertaining and informative two hour walking tour of this city of heritage and culture, with its ancient and beautiful buildings lining the narrow cobbled streets and lanes. We then have some further time at leisure here, before joining the coach in the afternoon and commencing our journey home
