FRIDAY We make our way to Manchester, where we meet our tour guide, who joins the coach to take us on a 90 minute panoramic tour of the “Capital of the North”. Following this, enjoy time at leisure in the world’s first industrial city now rich in cultural highlights, with the Transport, People’s History, and Science & Industry museums all offering a great insight into the area’s history (charges may apply). You will soon see why this vibrant city is England’s second most visited destination. From here we transfer to the hotel for our two night stay.
SATURDAY A full day of exploration in Liverpool, commencing with a two hour panoramic guided tour of the city. With more listed buildings than any UK city outside of London, two cathedrals, art galleries, a choice of museums second to none (many of which are free to enter), and world class shopping too, you will truly be spoilt for choice today.
SUNDAY Chester today - accompanied by our guide we commence our 90 minute panoramic tour, incorporating highlights of this historic and compact medieval city, including Roman Chester, the Rows and the River Dee. We are then free to continue our day of exploration at leisure, discovering the delights of this charming city, before departing mid afternoon for our journey home.
