MONDAY We travel south, with suitable stops en route, arriving in Torquay with time to settle in before dinner.
TUESDAY A morning visit to Babbacombe Model Village. Feel like a giant as you step through the small entrance and the vast miniature world opens up before you. Explore 4 acres of award-winning gardens showcasing hundreds of uniquely hand-crafted model scenes, vehicles & people. The rest of the day is yours at leisure in Torquay.
WEDNESDAY This morning we head to the bustling town of Newton Abbot where today is market day. We then continue to Teignmouth, a stunning coastal resort boasting historic Georgian buildings, a lovely high street and long sandy beaches. The river beach is full of boats and has a charming atmosphere making it the perfect place for a gentle stroll.
THURSDAY We journey to the historic maritime city of Plymouth, with the delightful Hoe extending to the promenade along Plymouth Sound. Here you will have time to wander the quaint cobbled quayside and lanes of the Barbican, at the heart of the city’s heritage. We also include a scenic harbour cruise, enjoying informative commentary as we sail across Plymouth Sound flanked by the beautiful Devon and Cornish coast.
FRIDAY We commence our homeward journey, making suitable stops en route.
