Lincoln Steampunk Festival
Lincoln will once again welcome thousands of visitors for the Lincoln Steampunk Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend, bringing an incredible mix of costumes, entertainment and events to the historic Cathedral Quarter.
Walk & Ride Service – Friday 28th & Saturday 29th August
Due to road closures associated with the Steampunk Festival, on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August our Walk & Ride service will be unable to serve Minster Yard, Bailgate or Westgate.
During these closures, Walk & Ride will operate via the diversion route shown on the map below.
Going to Steampunk?
If you're heading to the festival, why not leave the car at home and travel by bus? As well as our Walk & Ride service, services 43, 44 and 50 also pass close to the Cathedral Quarter, making it easy to get close to the heart of the festivities.
Click here to view timetables for services 43, 44 & 50.
And there's even more reason to travel by bus this Bank Holiday weekend – children can still travel for FREE until the end of August as part of the UK Government's Great British Summer Savings scheme. It's a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy one of Lincoln's biggest and most colourful weekends – without worrying about parking!
