Bus service changes from Monday 2nd November 2026

P. C. Coaches is introducing changes to improve reliability and provide new connections from Monday 2nd November 2026. There are also end-of-season updates for customers using our seasonal services.

Service 47: revised timetable

Service 47 will operate to a revised timetable to improve timekeeping and reliability. Please check the updated timetable before travelling, as your usual departure time may change.

Services 48 and 49: new connections

Services 48 and 49 will make a small diversion to serve Lincoln Science & Innovation Park and Lincoln Community Diagnostic Centre.

As the park continues to grow and welcome new businesses, good public transport connections have an increasingly important role to play. This change will give businesses on the park a regular bus link for their staff and visitors, supporting easier access to this growing employment hub.

Together, services 48 and 49 will provide an hourly connection from early morning into the evening, six days a week, offering more travel options for employees, visitors and patients.

The changes follow feedback from MediLinc passengers and local businesses who told us that longer operating hours would make travelling by bus more convenient.

MediLinc: final day of operation

The NHS-funded MediLinc trial will finish after its final journeys on Friday 30th October 2026. Although the trial received positive feedback, passenger numbers have not been sufficient to make the service commercially viable.

Passengers should check the new service 48 and 49 timetables for replacement journeys from Monday 2nd November.

Service 77: extending to The Priory Academy LSST

There is good news for students travelling to The Priory Academy LSST. Service 77, which connects Saxilby, Burton Waters, St George’s and Lincoln Central Bus Station, will extend to the academy on school-day mornings and afternoons.

This restores a connection following the withdrawal of the Black Cat Lynx 2 service.

Students can purchase single, day and weekly tickets directly from the driver, paying by cash or contactless.

PC1 and 59E: back next year!

Our seasonal services PC1 and 59E will finish for the season on Saturday 31st October 2026.

But don’t worry — both services will be back next year! Thank you to all our customers for your support throughout the season. We look forward to welcoming you aboard again in 2027.
